Giahpedia.com is an interactive community portal that allows registered users to create and maintain articles on their specific growing interests; therefore creating an online encyclopedia of grower specific information. It allows anyone to view and comment on these articles giving the author the ability to update their article with the best and most reliable/up to date information.  

The photo gallery allows registered users to upload their growing photos to allow them to share experiences of, for example ideal specimens, "how to" photo story boards or current pest/disease/weed risks.

The @giahpedia twitter feed and our RSS feeds are a fantastic way to receive up-to-date live time growing hints and tips, which you can directly contribute to, so follow us now!! Or email twitterfeed@giahpedia.com

Anyone who is interested in growing their own.  We welcome you all: young, old, novice or experienced growers, the only qualification needed is that you have an email address so you can log-in.

Nothing, not a penny, cent, groat or peseta it is totally free to all.

Unfortunately not, we hope to be able to offer this soon however you can write your article in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, use the spell checker and then cut and paste into your giahpedia article.  The only restriction is you must use Internet Explorer (IE) 5 onwards as previous editions may not be compatible.

Yes, as long as you use a Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) Web Browser, as opposed to others available eg: mozilla firefox or google chrome - we won't get technical but unfortunately it may not work on other available browsers.

Hopefully Giahpedia is the first building block of many more to come from GIAH – Grow it at Home, there are many more innovative ideas, all following the same mission, aims and objectives but in order to progress further we need your help to make “your giahpedia” a success.
